Maximize your blog by implementing SEO techniques

If you want your website get the highest rank on Google, Yahoo, or other search engines, you need to run the technical SEO (Search Engine Optimization). By implementing these SEO techniques, your blog or website not only get the highest rank in search engines, but your blog will also have many visitors.

There are two types of SEO techniques, ON PAGE SEO and OFF PAGE SEO.

ON PAGE SEO technique is to make our web pages as good as possible in the eyes of search engines, for example by choosing the right title, adequate keyword but not excessive, adding a link on a keyword, bold, italic, etc. Here are tips on technique ON PAGE :

Register your blog to Google Sitemap

Can’t be denied that google is a site that has the most popular search engine in the world for the moment, thousands or even millions of websites/blogs compete to get attention from google to place his website at the top of the search. And of course if the website/blog placed on top, then your website / blog have the opportunity to be overwhelmed by visitors from all over the world.

By signing up for Google Sitemap then every article that we post will automatically be entered into the google database. There is one thing you should know that you must have a google mail account to sign up google sitemap.

Go to Google Sitemap, then sign in with your google account.
Click the "Add a site" button, insert your website/blog URL.
Click "verify your site" like shown below

Choose "add metatag" on "choose verification method" dropdown menu

Copy the meta tag that is given, then paste it in notepad or another text editor so easy to use later.

Go to your blog/website, Copy and paste the meta tag that had been given under <title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> or <title><$BlogPageTitle$></title> on your blog/website.

When you've finished, go back Goggle site map, then click the Verify button

If all goes well, will appear "You've successfully verified http://yourblogname.com/"

We have to register/submit our website/blog to search engine in order to visited by many people because as we all know that peoples use search engines to find the information they want. There are many search engines, but the most famous is Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Lets start register your blog on search engines

Submit to Google

go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ , then input your data
URL : insert your blog url
Comments : insert keywords related to your blog
insert verification code
click the add url button
finish

usually take 3-4 weeks for google to get your blog indexed.

Submit to Yahoo

Make sure you have a yahoo account, created first if you do not have.
go to https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
click “submit a website or webpage”
insert your blog url.
click “submit url”
login with your Yahoo account
finish

Submit to MSN

go to http://search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx?FORM=WSDD2
type the character from the picture
input your URL
finish

I want to share tips I got from my friends about how to find High Paying Keyword for your blog so you can get more money from adsense using google adwords keyword tool.

Here it is :

Go to this URL: Google adwords keyword tool
Choose "descriptive words or phrases"
Type the keywords you want to use in textbox
Check use synonims
Insert captcha
Click "get keyword ideas"
Select "show estimated avg. CPC" in the "choose column to display"
Choose $USD, which is under the "Calculate Estimates using Max CPC"
Type 100
Click the recalculate button

Now you can see the value per click of the keywords that you input, competitors level, and the number of search per month.

From those results, you can consider what keywords would you use in your blog.
